Short Info Design and realization of „relevant“, the Swiss online magazine for attorneys Date: 2001-2002 Client: Swisslex AG, Zurich BELLEVILLE SERVICES - Project condition analysis - Design of website and online magazine - Programming (HTML/PHP, with net working AG) - Technical project management (with net working AG) REQUIREMENTS Swisslex.ch is the leading online databank for attorneys in Switzerland. Belleville was commissioned to not only restructure and redesign the corporate website, but to launch the pioneering online magazine „relevant“. The magazine’s editorial team consists of attorneys from Switzerland’s leading law firms who submit current, highly qualified articles relating to various fields of law. „relevant“ is also enriched by specialized articles on law, syndicated by the Swiss newspaper NZZ (Neue Zürcher Zeitung). The site needed to be constructed in such a way that its editorial interface is easily accessible by any editorial staff, including NZZ. |
REALIZATION Upon analyzing the project we brought in our sister company, net working AG, to collaborate on the execution of the website. Besides creating an appropriately elegant corporate identity for Swisslex, it was imperative to design a simple editorial interface (Content Management System). User-friendly, logical editorial steps were key in launching this online magazine successfully. As usual, Belleville was there for a step-by-step launch of the magazine. For us, it’s standard procedure to not only create a prototype, but to also be involved with test versions and the final product. We strongly feel that this is an essential component in the project development of online products. The magazine’s online appearance was adapted for several collateral products. |
