REQUIREMENTS
Cyberhelvetia.ch's Fotobots went ‚click' more than one million times. We were fascinated by the idea to compile a small, handy, representative book from this almost infinite digital collection of self-portraits floating in the Internet. The book, available in book stores and at Expo.02, is a friendly, upbeat document of a moment in time around the Millennium in Switzerland.
REALIZATION
„Fotobot - Internet Portraits" is about the size of a hefty deck of cards. 365 chronologically compiled self-portraits from every part of Switzerland, culled from about 50 Fotobot locations, are laid out on roughly 500 pages. The images are accompanied by text and information in three languages (German, French and English). The book costs 20 Swiss Francs and is available in bookstores and online, at www.fotobot.net.
